CS 110: Elements of Computing. Instructor: Jim Aspnes

Homework One

Due Friday, September 20th, 2002, at 5:00pm.

Solutions.

Send me email

Send me email! My address is aspnes@cs.yale.edu.

Send me an email message with your full name and your residential college (or department, if you are a graduate student). Please put 110 in the subject of your message. Include a brief greeting or question if you want to.

Remember: it's important that you be able to read mail at the account that you send your message from; among other things, it's where I'll send your password for Grade-o-Matic.

Send me more email

Do problems 1, 2, and 3 from page 65 of Brookshear. Write up an email message containing your full name and the answer to these problems in plain text format (this means no HTML or Microsoft word documents), and send it to aspnes+110-02-1@cs.yale.edu. You should receive an automated reply to your message.

Note that the email address for this part is not the same as for the first part, and that in general each homework assignment will be sent to a different address. The easiest way to get the address right is probably to use the link in the on-line version of this assignment.
