- An introduction to database systems. Data modeling.
The relational model and the SQL query language. Relational database
design, integrity constraints, functional dependencies, and normal
forms. Object-oriented databases. Implementation of databases:
file structures, indexing, query processing, transactions, concurrency
control, recovery systems, and security.
