Job Description Primary Responsibilities Ensure Public Market Information (PMI) has been captured at an hourly level for each market. Ensure controls are in place and validated daily to keep wholesale trading transactions in sync with the open access market scheduling transactions. Generate a daily estimate of customer expenses and revenues based on customer level schedules for Generation, Load and Import / Exports. These estimates are provided to Risk to be included in the West Desk daily P/L. These estimates are then actualized on an average of 76 days following a trade day. This is in accordance with the ISO / PX settlement protocol. (Settlement calendar) Consolidate meter data information for Load & Generation customer's and provide settlement ready information to ISO Secondary Responsibilities Comparison of all EPMI estimated calculations to estimated and actual calculations by control areas, e.g. (ISO, PX?). If variances exist the Volume Management group will dispute the charges and manage a dispute resolution process with the control area on behalf of our customers. Provide to customers, detail settlement information to support hourly expenses and revenues incurred through their energy schedules. There are roughly 30 different types of charges in existence in the current California market. Serves as a source of information back to trading and schedule regarding latest tariff and operational market changes and their impacts on our business. Qualifications Successful candidate will posses analytical and problem - solving skills adaptable to a fast paced intense environment. Candidate will work with a number of customers both internal and external and should possess the ability to effectively communicate regarding complex topics. Must be able to handle multiple tasks with precision and excellence. Must be available to work unscheduled overtime as the workload dictates.
