It appears very likely that a deal in the=20 neighborhood of $50-$75 million will be put together between Global One and= =20 EBS by mid May.=20 Coupled with the PS deal earlier this week GA has contributed pretty well t= o=20 our Bottomline! France Telecom recently=20 purchased Equant, the Dutch communications, and plans to use the Equant nam= e=20 for Global One in the future. =20 Global One=01,s Sell-Side Product Mix Approximately 15% Voice, 85% Data Recent Global One Deals currently negotiating a 3 year $100M sale to Verizon purchased $200M a year worth of network from Sprint (currently experiencin= g=20 difficulties - possibly cancelled due to provisioning and execution (SLAs)= =20 sold a $10M European network deal to Focal Communications These deals have generally taken on a familiar structure for Euro-centric= =20 carriers: they look to form partnerships and reseller arrangements in the U= S=20 w/ US carriers (buy lit in US) and sell lit in Europe to US carriers. =20 "Exclusive partnerships", agency agreements, "alternate channel"=20 arrangements, and reseller deals are their preferred means of buying=20 capacity.=20 Global One Products=20 Managed IP service Frame Relay ATM SDH in Europe =20 Commercial Outcome Dante agreed to consider a large scale sale of US capacity to Global absent= a=20 concrete reciprocal agreement by EBS to buy in Europe in the near term,=20 understanding that some level of commitment on EBS' part would be required= =20 before closing a large sale to Global One. Following an agreement to proce= ed=20 quickly to put together basic commercial terms on a large network sale, a= =20 proposed closure date of NLT mid-May was suggested. Next Steps Dante promised a list of specific requirements and preferences for US Enron= =20 commodity needs by the end of the week.
