COAL SAYS POWER PLANTS CAN BE EXPANDED A coal industry advisory group said Monday that existing coal-burning power plants in the United States could be expanded with "relatively modest" effort enough to add another 40,000 megawatts to the nation's electricity supply. -PRECEDENT IN OKLAHOMA COURTS ALLOWS STATE TO LOOK AT UTILITY FINANCES Oklahoma Supreme Court rulings over the last 70 years have supported the constitutional authority of state regulators to inspect the books of utility affiliates, regulators told the justices Thursday.
