Phil Vachon is the Head of Infrastructure in the CTO's Office at
Bloomberg. In this role he leads a department of architects,
engineers, and product managers in developing secure, scalable, and
reliable infrastructure technologies to serve the company. In prior
roles at Bloomberg, Vachon built secure embedded biometric
authentication systems and other custom datacenter hardware
technologies. Prior to Bloomberg, Phil cofounded and was CTO 12Sided
Technology, delivering a high-speed packet capture and analytics
platform that served several high frequency traders and brokers in the
financial services market. Earlier in Phil’s career he led development
of space borne synthetic aperture radar systems and real-time digital
signal processing applications.
