CS 470 - Problem Set 8

Assigned:Wednesday April 15
Deadline:Thursday April 30, 11:59pm

Not a Final Exam

As you are aware, there will be no final exam, for reasons discussed in class. This final problem set, however, will be akin to a final exam. You are to write two final exam questions that relate to any topic in the course, including Professor Vázquez's lecture. You should then answer your own questions. The questions can be specific or general. Qualitative or quantitative. They can require coding or not. Note that the new chapter 27 on the Philosophy and Ethics of AI is in scope. Thus, you can opine about what AI can or cannot do, and what AI should or should not do.

This is your chance to reflect on what you have learned and to tell me. You can ask yourself a question, and provide an answer to show me what you gotten out of the course.

I will read your submissions. Given the liberating effect of the Universal Pass, this is an opportunity for you to think and write about something you care about. While it does not affect your grade, I will be able to write commendations that apparently are sent to your college dean. I would hope that you see this as your chance to impress the most important person in your life, namely, yourself. Try to show what you are capable of.

Deliverable

Create a pdf document or jupyter notebook and use the zoo submit system to hand it in. There is no word limit. You may submit code if that is appropriate as well.
