As of this moment, my team and I have not yet been granted access to merit information in the comp system. I am in London this week, but have been in touch with my HR rep each day. Latest word is that he aniticipates that we will be able to access merit worksheets sometime today. Our deadline to submit merit increases is Monday, January 22. SInce it is already after lunch on Wednesday here in London and we do not yet have access to the system, it is likely that my direct reports will work on merits over the next two days. Since I will be in the air on Friday, it will be Monday before I have the opportunity to review all inputs from my direct reports and finalize merits. --Sally Melissa Becker@ENRON 01/16/2001 03:34 PM To: Kent Castleman/NA/Enron@Enron, Sally Beck/HOU/ECT@ECT, Melissa Becker@ENRON_DEVELOPMENT, Howard Selzer/Corp/Enron@ENRON, Bob Butts@ENRON_DEVELOPMENT, Wes Colwell/HOU/ECT@ECT, Wanda Curry/HOU/EES@EES, Fernley Dyson/LON/ECT@ECT, Rodney Faldyn/Corp/Enron@Enron, Rod Hayslett@ENRON_DEVELOPMENT, Robert Hermann/Corp/Enron@ENRON, Tod A Lindholm/NA/Enron@Enron, Mark E Lindsey/GPGFIN/Enron@ENRON, Keith Marlow/ENRON_DEVELOPMENT@ENRON_DEVELOPMENT, Jeffrey E Sommers/ENRON_DEVELOPMENT@ENRON_DEVELOPMENT, Kevin Hughes/HOU/EES@EES, Carol Howes/ENRON_DEVELOPMENT@ENRON_DEVELOPMENT, Michael K Patrick/NA/Enron@Enron, John Echols/Enron Communications@Enron Communications, Brent A Price/HOU/ECT@ECT, George Wasaff/NA/Enron, Andrew Parsons/Corp/Enron, Dave Gunther/NA/Enron@Enron cc: Linda Hawkins/Corp/Enron@ENRON, Dortha Gray/GPGFIN/Enron@ENRON, Karen Myer/GPGFIN/Enron@ENRON, Nicole Scott/LON/ECT@ECT, Shelley Grover/Corp/Enron@Enron, Kathy Campos/GPGFIN/Enron@ENRON, Bobbie Moody/Corp/Enron@ENRON, Sandy Lewelling/NA/Enron@Enron, Norma Petry/ENRON_DEVELOPMENT@ENRON_DEVELOPMENT, Leigh Ann Van Houten/ENRON_DEVELOPMENT@ENRON_DEVELOPMENT, Shirley Tijerina/Corp/Enron@ENRON, Patti Thompson/HOU/ECT@ECT, Cathy Corbin/HOU/EES@EES, Ruth A Noble/ENRON_DEVELOPMENT@ENRON_DEVELOPMENT, Michele Beffer/NA/Enron@ENRON, Jo Carolyn Olsovsky/Enron Communications@Enron Communications, Chantelle Villanueva/HOU/ECT@ECT, Karina Prizont/NA/Enron, Darlene Taylor/ENRON_DEVELOPMENT@ENRON_DEVELOPMENT, Christina Liscano/HOU/EES@EES, Kim Weldon/Corp/Enron@Enron, Sharron Westbrook/Corp/Enron@ENRON Subject: Merit - Action requested Rick has asked that I help him ensure that we all finish up our merit increases in time for the new deadline of this Friday, January 19. 1. Could you please "submit" by the end of the day tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17? Then Rick and I can review and get back with you with any changes. 2. If you could leave me a voice mail or eMail when you are finished, I would appreciate it. I am moving back to the Enron building and will get back my old number (X36641) effective tomorrow. 3. In addition, we are interested in your thoughts on the merit process overall, both for yourself and for your groups. In general, it seems like a lot of "administration" for some pretty small numbers. What are your thoughts - do you like the current process or would less frequent, larger increases be preferable (assuming we could make that change in the larger overall Enron framework)? Please call me or Andrea Yowman (x31477) with any questions. Thanks for your help!
