FYI

Please be advised that the DOE has  issued its anticipated Notice of Inquiry
(NOI) seeking comments on whether to  initiate a rulemaking to have the FERC
impose mandatory electric reliability  standards.??? DOE is seeking responses
to the seven specific  questions included in the attached 2-page Notice by
January 4,  2001.
