Can you please review these archived RisktRAC book ids and determine if we can archive this CPID.  I noted that there is a PHY book which is receiving a PostID, but I do not know if it has any active deals against it.  Please consider that in order to SUSPEND a CPID there can be no active deals in any deal entry system.  If we can not archive all Risktypes then we can not "SUSPEND" the CPID.  Please read the information below in the original document for additional data.

Attached please review a detail of books marked as "To be Archived" on the Active/Inactive website.  These books have already been archived on RisktRAC, so no positions will be captured going forward.  In order to close the Risk Loop we need to have these counter parties SUSPENDED on the various deal entry systems.  By changing the status of the Counter party codes we do not impact the data related to these counter parties.  The data will still be there and edits of existing deals will be allowed, however no new deals would be allowed for these counter parties.


Please review the list of books and send an email approving the status change to "SUSPENDED" on the deal entry systems for the books related to your own Business Units.  Please note that in order to "SUSPEND" the counter party code all risk types for that code must be suspended (i.e. IDX,BAS,PRC,GDL,GDI & PHY).  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at ext 54751.


Due to the urgent nature of this request, I kindly ask that you reply by Friday Oct 5 or at your earliest convenience.
