Due to market developments and the poor credit environment in the energy
industry, Dynegy has discontinued electronic trading activities through
Dynegydirect.  We encourage you to contact your Dynegy representative and
execute your trades by phone.  If you don't have a designated

Any and all trades that you executed on Dynegydirect through June 19, 2002,
