ISO Operating Procedure posted: S-315 Emergency OverLoad Mitigation Procedure for Stability Rated Paths Version: 2.2 Effective Date: 8-1-2001 Procedure Purpose: The purpose of this procedure is to reduce flows on ISO managed Interconnections within twenty minutes as required by WSCC Mandatory Reliability Criteria, through coordinated operational measures with adjacent interconnected Control Areas. Such measures may include, transferring flow to other facilities, Generation changes, and Schedule adjustments.
