Could you tell me how to get a screen dump of Nserver?

Well, it used to be you could use xwd and xpr; unfortunately the latest redhat seems to be missing xpr. So here are the two commands you need:

1. xwd -out filename

Make sure the window you want to dump is fully exposed; when the cursor changes, click on the window with the trace.

2. xv filename

When xv fires up, type ? in the displayed window, the "save" option, then in the "format" menu choose postscript, and in the "colors" menu choose grayscale. Click on the "ok" button.

3. Print the resulting file.

Note that the resulting files are rather large; try to minimize the number of times you do this!!!

If someone can locate the missing xpr command, this will also become a little easier ....

How do I print?

You can print directly from the Linux systems using lpr. Or, if you want, you can telnet to one of the HP-UX systems, and use lp -ddl120dj file The printer is sitting in the Zoo, so you will need access to the zoo.
