    This paper proposes the problems met for the raliable data delivery under the multicast infrastructure. The basic principle and the algorithms are effective for a variety of applications. And the basic idea can be extended or modified to fit to other applications.

    The authors give the wb as an application of the SRM framework. They analyze the algorithms, give a simulation, and explore the parameter settings. They also propose the possible extensions of the basic approach.

    The recovery time is not as fast as to fit the need of the real-time applications.

  How to make the reliable multicast scalable is an interesting and chanllenging research topic.
