AI for Future Presidents (CS170)
Dec 19, 2023 • scaz
Next semester, we will be offering a one-of-a-kind experimental course designed to teach non-majors about artificial intelligence. This is not a course about how to build AI, but rather a course about what everyone should know about AI in order to be successful doctors, lawyers, artists, and citizens.
Just as we teach people how to be successful drivers without understanding the nuances of automotive engineering, we believe we can teach Yale’s next generation of leaders how to understand and use AI-based technologies. There will be no programming skills or mathematics background needed.
The class is open to everyone at Yale - including students in the professional schools. Please help us get the word out about this new course by encouraging your friends to consider CS170 next semester.
or send them a copy of our new poster, complete with AI-generated robot bulldog!
