This is an interest + pre-registration form for YQuantum 2025. YQuantum is Yale’s premier quantum computing hackathon, bringing together students to work on problems set by professionals to solve real-world issues using quantum computers! It is open to all experience levels and fields up to $10k in prizes.

The Yale Quantum Institute is a world-leader in quantum information science, encompassing 30 research groups across fields including quantum engineering, quantum error correction, optics and photonics, superconducting qubits, and solid state theory.

Major research advancements through YQI include the first superconducting device prototype, the first superconducting quantum processor, the first demonstrated quantum algorithm on a QPU, the first realization of photonic quantum circuits, and the longest superconducting coherence time.

Through YQuantum, we aim to bring students to this hotbed of research, empowering them to take advantage of the vibrant environment of innovation, gaining the opportunity to work on the cutting edge of the field.
