HackMIT is back for fall 2023! ☁️ We are excited to announce that HackMIT 2023 will be taking place during the weekend of September 16th-17th, 2023! Join us at MIT for an unforgettable hacking experience filled with coding, amazing speakers, awesome sponsor opportunities, and new friends.

Registration has opened at my.hackmit.org! You’re eligible if you’re an MIT undergraduate (M.Eng students included!) OR a college undergraduate at least 18 years old. Answers to other frequently asked questions are available on our website!

This year, we are introducing two cycles for applications: a general admissions cycle, and a travel reimbursement admissions cycle!

Our general cycle is for people who will not be requesting travel reimbursements. Applications for our general cycle are due on July 28th, with decisions released by the end of August.

Our travel reimbursement cycle is for people who will be requesting travel reimbursements for HackMIT! Only people commuting from more than 50 miles away are eligible, and applications for this cycle are due on July 14th, with decisions released by mid-August.

Since we have a limited amount of travel reimbursements we can provide, we will unfortunately not be able to reimburse everyone who applies in the travel cycle. However, if you are not admitted during the travel cycle, your application will be considered again during the general cycle, so applying for travel reimbursements will not affect your chances of admission!
